Book Shelf/cat ladder

This bookcase is a dual design. The owners of the house are cat lovers with 6 cats and they wanted the cats to have somewhere high to hang out. So we buit this shelf with an opening in the middle so the cats could go up to ceiling where we built a catwalk around the entire room. The bookcase is floating with completly hidden L brackets under the drywall attached directly to the studs.
