Nice work! Mind if I ask, how do you do that? Vacuum chuck?
Thanks for your comment!
The easiest way is to turn a flat blank (plywood) between centres. Turn a dovetailed foot to hold in a 4 jaw scroll chuck (or you could use a screw chuck or facelplate). When in the chuck, and turning at low speed, mark concentric circles on the front of the wood blank, depending upon what size of pendant / insert you plan to make. Stick the pendant wood onto the blank using double sided tape. Turn the back first, remove the pendent form the blank, reverse, stick back onto the blank with more tape and finish the front.
If this doesn't cover it, let me know and I can provide more details.
Ah. Clever. Thanks!
