what kind of lift was that? Looks great.
I bought the one from Lee Valley. The lift works perfectly. I built the table shown with a 3/4" 3'x3' cherry top and a second one with a 1" 2'x4' top. both are easy to lift and stay down when closed.
Kudos to Lee Valley: The prices for these lifts varied wildly although they almost all look the same and have similar specs. I wrote to Lee Valley to ask a question about their spec and the sales rep actually opened a box and measured the dimensions for open and closed! It turned out to be exactly the same as others for about 1/2 the price.
Jim, any chance of getting a copy of your design? I need to build one similar to yours with a variation. It has to be 48" by 48".
