Tansu Influenced Stereo Cabinet
This stereo cabinet was designed and built to house my vacuum tube stereo equiptment. However, it can also be used as a display cabinet. The middle “step” cabinet can be removed or positioned to the left or right side of the cabinet.
It’s approximately 53″W(top)x63″Hx21″D. The main carcase is hard maple finished with waterbase polyurethane. The floating rear panels are curly redwood and finished with clear Watco and wax. Construction of the cabinet is essentially frame (pegged through mortise and tenon joints) and panel (tongue and groove) construction.
