Great desk! The design, materials, and details combine into a terrific piece. The person who gets this desk will, no doubt, treasure and use it for a long time -- as will their children. Thanks for the photos.
I spent a lot of time, before I moved back to Iowa, hanging out at the Renwick Gallery. They always have wonderful exhibits, including a look at Greene and Greene early last year. I went 6 times. Part of my love of and desite to get into woodworking, stem from the times I spent admiring museum pieces. I get a feeling, indescribable, that draws me to the piece and makes me stare in awe.
I feel that way now.
