Woodman, purveyor of curved shapes and defender of abstract ideas. Inspired in part from Dale Lewis (design book 6?), this was my first and only attempt at wood shaping.

This project had 4 objectives:
1) learn wood shaping (legs, feet, wings)
2) veneer over tricky mouldings (lower drawer & aprons)3) interesting mechanicals (slide out arms from marquetry image)
4) use new materials (acrylic wings)

Some things cannot be described, understood, or, for that matter, properly praised by us commentors. Whatever the heck that thing is or does...it shows a wealth of talent and creativity on your part.
