Sculpted and curved waterfall bubinga case and drawers appear to float on a fiddleback maple stand with carved calla lily legposts.
Patinated copper back, marquetry and inlay throughout, removable jewelry box, embellished drawer bottoms, brass and ebony pulls.
bubinga, maple, ebony, copper, brass, sterling silver, pearl,abalone, marquetry veneers: maple,pau amarillo, nara, spanish cedar.

Truly inspired work. Beautiful inlay and marquetry. I'm particularly impressed by the calla lily carving on the leg posts. After seeing this piece, I'm inspired to do a similar treatment on the upper posts of a potting bench I'm designing. Assuming, of course, I can carve...haven't tried it yet :)

This is a beautiful piece, as are all of your pieces. have you ever considered a collaboration with a woman who does bronze work? Could be an interesting addition. Truly an amazing piece. I love the design, the choice of woods, the marquetry and inlay, and the carving. This is the obvious winner. Congratulations on a fabulous piece of design and implementation.
Very creative piece. I wish I knew the dimensions for a better handle on scale. I like the multitude of different techniques and wood species used.
