Ambrosia and Walnut Hall Table
This ambrosia and walnut hall table is my second furniture project and my first project post on FWW and certainly not to the level of other members. The ambrosia maple top and lower shelf consist of matching resawed veneer on 3/4″ MDF core. The center portion incorporates a continous grain pattern that flows around the table.

Hi Jim,
Wonderful job on the table! In particular, your care and attention to orient the grain from the ambrosia maple around the drawers, sides, and back panels makes the piece stand above and beyond. The slight taper of the legs adds another thoughtful touch. All in all, a wonderful piece -- thanks for sharing!
Best,
Audie
Nicely done. Your lines are crisp and balanced allowing for a clean piece that is light and airy. Not bad for your second furniture piece. Glad to see that you didn't get weighted down in heavy grain figuring as many guys seem to do.
