Scrollsawn Christmas Ornaments
I’ve been making ornaments for a few years now and its becoming a tradition with my friends. This is some work, but with the stack cutting it really goes far. Twenty-five stacks of six make a hundred and fifty flat ornaments plus a couple dozen compound cuts. No, I actually don’t have that many friends, but they are growing. The compound cuts are poplar, pine and mahogany. The flats are baltic birch. The patterns come from books and magazines. I think fretwork goes back to the Victorian era. Merry Christmas to all.

Beautiful work!
Some "how-to" information would be wonderful; maybe a short article for the magazine, next fall???

I'm impressed. I'd like to be a friend around Christmas. I agree there should be a "how to" information. I'd be interested in trying some of the simpler patterns.
