Torsion Box Assembly Table
I needed more room for assembly, but the table needed to be portable and light enough for one person to move. I decided on torsion box construction as it provided all the benefits of heavier construction without the weight. Dowel holes in the sides of the table keep the two sections aligned (you cannot see the dowels inserted between the two tables), but easily disassembled for strorage. Torsion box construction insures that they are dead flat, light weight and stable. When not in use they easily store against the wall

Great project! I love the T-Track system on all four sides with stop blocks and dog holes.
I also want to make an assembly table but like you have limited space. I wasn't sure what to do with the thing when not in use. Dowling the two tables is something I haven't thought of. I'm new to woodworking and need a plan for most of my projects. Do you have one? Are you willing to share it?
Would appreciate any help. Thank you.
