Shaker Candle Boxes in Tiger Maple

These are two tiger maple candle boxes. The finish is shellac over aniline dye stain. They are patterned after examples from The Book of Shaker Furniture by John Kassay. Of course, those examples were made of pine.

Nice job on the dovetails, and the finish really shows off the figure in the maple.
