Art Deco Hall Table
The design for this hall table was inspired by a 1930 Art Deco table. It is mahogany, with a carved detail at the base. The real challange was the glue up for the curved legs. The curves were cut on a bandsaw. The legs are joined to the base with 1/2 inch dowels. The finish is water based dye, shellac (1 lb cut), and several coats of water based poly. The top is a frame and panel.

That is a beautifully reprentation of the Art Deco period. A true work of art. I love it!
