This is a piece I made from a Red Elm tree I milled 3 years ago.

It is the scrap from a floor lamp I am making.

Did you turn this, cut it apart, hollow it and put it back together? It is a very interesting turning...I like it!

Hi sorry I did not see this earlier.
Yes it is the diamond turning, it was an article in an earlier publication.
I searched fine woodworking's site but could not fine the article.
