My shop is only 13′ X 24′ but it is fine for one person as long as only a couple of projects are on the go. It is on the second floor above the garage. My wife is happy that I don’t really have room for any more large equipment – especially since she helped get most of it up the stairs.

Here is a photo of my shop from the stairs. Wood storage is one of my biggest problems so most of it resides on the main floor of the garage.
Here is a workbench I recently finished. It has made my woodworking much easier and more enjoyable.
Here is the Router Table I built from plans by Norm Abrams. I modified it to accept the Incra fence system and table insert.
My Dust Extractor is on the main floor of the garage so all the plumbing runs down through the floor of the wood shop. This keeps the noise out of the shop and doesn't take up any of my valuable floor space. I turn the extractor on and off with a wireless remote.

Great use of space! I recently moved and as a result, have had the rare opportunity to redesign my shop. The one thing I've obsessed about the most is
the flooring. Is it worth the expense to add plywood on sleepers in order to get
off the concrete?
