I enjoy making bandsaw boxes. Most designs are from the books of Lois Keener Ventura. Any of her books are a great resource for patterns and techiques for making bandsaw boxes.
This box is made from a Wild Plum tree and Purpleheart with purple flocking in the drawers. I like the way the colours balance each other. The finish is tung oil and paste wax.

I will be attempting my first flocked box, (andromeda from Lois Keener Ventura. Any lessons learned that you would like to pass along for flocking? I am cncerned about getting the adhesive coating thick enough.
