Wooden Celtic Cross made for a Presbyterian Church in Pulaski, Va. St. Pierre built the cross with no designs or plans, just a picture of a granite cross that was in Scotland. The lumber was harvested from an old growth red oak tree from the campus of Virginia Tech.

Very impressive work. Those churchgoers will be mesmerized by that cross just as their counterparts were by the granite version of old.

Thank you for the great comments.I was able to really concentrate on this cross after I had broken my back in 3 places last winter skiing in W.V.It was a real pleasure building it.
