Home Renovation, New Doors
The photos I have shown here are a small bit of the work I did over a five year period on our former home. We totally gutted the building and re built it mostly from the foundation up. Two small additions were added, the front entrance and the dining room area plus a new garage as the original was converted to a workshop. We were going to add a second floor as we have awesome views from this property, but after visiting and photographing the view corridors from our neighbours homes, we decided to not raise the height of our building beyond the four foot vaulted ceiling as it would block their views. We instead decided to make what we had very nice, sometimes smaller is better!
We have since sold this house and I am currently working on another one, this one is defiantly the last one……..?
Cheers

GORGEOUS!! It was VERY considerate of you to NOT add the second floor, as it would block your neighbours view. Most people would've just added it, but, you showed class & respect. I'd like to have a neighbour like you. Great job on the house. The front door is a nice touch. LOVE the burl table. That must have weighed a TON!! Spectacular job!! :)

The door is amazing. Any chance you could post a photo of that vaulted ceiling?
Nice house and a gorgeous door.
Wonderful workmanship! In addition to being a great woodworker you're also an artist. Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful pictures with us.
