Victorian Kitchen Worktable

We had some 1 inch pine floorboards left from new house construction which I saved for this project. The turned ash legs were bought as I don’t have a lathe. Aprons are 3/4 x 7 birch, I cut the 1 x 4 mortises on the router table and made a jig to cut the tenons on the tablesaw. The tiles are 1880’s Victorian from England via Ebay. Top has one coat of oil based stain and two coats of water based varnish. The base has a base coat of yellow paint, top coat of red sanded through for ‘wear’, then one coat of the water based varnish. Size is 4′-7 x 2′-3 deep.
