Hexabox

This piece is called the Hexabox. To me, it has significant value, being my first woodworking project. I recently found these pictures buried in my hard drive and thought I’d share them. The Hexabox is comprised of mahogany and oak scraps. Unfortunately, I lost the picture of the jig I used for the hexagonal cuts. Indeed, the jig was probably more impressive than the actual box! The Hexabox now graces the top of my piano, serving as a trinket box.
