Walnut and Lacewood Rocking Chair
This chair was built using 2” Qtd Lacewood and 2” Walnut, with Ebony accent plugs. Features a hand sculpted seat, maloof seat joints, coopered headrest, form fitting back braces and pure comfort. Finished off with a hand rubbed oil finish.
The seat was designed so that when it was carved it would reveal the lacewood underneath the walnut and to match the tops of the rockers and back braces were also made from Lacewood.
Built in our 2 man shop located in Ontario, Canada. Thanks for having a look if you want any more information please visit Canadian WoodWorks

Absolutely unbelievable. Beautiful work!! How long did it take you to create this?
A rocking chair usually takes between 70 and 100 hours
Great work.
I am going to be a grandpa soon and just recently began to think of designing a rocking chair. Where did you purchase/find your plans? Or did you create it all on your own. Regardless, it is great work.
