Router Table Box Spline Jig
I have been making some tiny boxes with splines. I don’t have a table saw, so I made a jig to cut the splines on my router table. This is actually the second jig I made, the first one was designed poorly and exploded when I used it. Nobody was injured, though my feelings were hurt.
The wenge inlay was gratuitous, and done to appease the woodworking gods, and to make up for the horrible design which preceeded it.
My silly blog about this build is available here… http://extremelyaverage.com/2010/08/just-a-little-bit-sexy/ <Actually the 3rd post about the spline jig debacle.

Your fixtures/jigs look better than my furniture LOL
I believe that safety is a woodworkers number one priority. Making a quality jig that will assist you with future projects and help you keep all your fingers is the way to go. Keep up the good work and continue to use great design and the best materials!
