Mahogany Bookcase
I designed this bookcase to be relatively inexpensive but well proportioned and solidly built. Most of my customers are not looking for great furniture masterpieces – they simply want their particular problem solved for a reasonable amount of money. This carcass and shelves of this bookcase are plywood, but I tried to use the plywood as veneer, as in the frieze. The sides of the cabinet are mitered into the face frames to give a substantial feel.
80″ tall x 33″ wide x 14″ deep.

Well done! A wise choice to miter the face frame to to sides. It does give the piece a strong presence.
