Very nice, this is a superb piece of craftsmanship and design. Thanks for sharing, what did you finish it with?
Very nice and unique!
Thanks very much for taking the time to comment. The finish on the bench is a satin sheen catalyzed lacquer, sprayed on in thin coats. Very natural looking and very durable finish.
Also, here's a tip I learned from a professional refinisher. I do the final rubout on my finishes with a clean sheet of printer paper. It is just abrasive enough to knock off any nibs of dust and leave a silky feel without leaving any scratches or altering the sheen. May sound silly, but it really works.
What a piece of art!
Very original and exquisite.
Congratulations!
I LOVE it. Such beautiful wood! Looks so strong, I'm sure an elephant could have lunch there with his elbows on the table. Bet you're keeping that piece for yourself!
