Cufflink Box

Hi All

This is one of my latest commissions. Made from ripple sycamore with a slip matched lid. Mother of pearl inlays on the lid and escutcheon with a fine black border.
The lid is bordered in black acetal with polyester inlay.

The interior consists of 3 trays made from macassar ebony with polyester inlays. Lined in ecru pig suede and fitted with high qualtity nickel hardware, danish oil finish followed with wax.

What did you use for a finish, and how big is this?

This is a gorgeous cuff link box with exceptional attention to detail and high end refinements which I am sure your client will appreciate for years to come! Obviously a lot of precision went into all of the details which are a tribute to your craftsmanship. I think you or anyone else would be hard pressed to find any flaws in this piece!

Thanks for the kind words guys.

The client was really pleased and ordered a second one for his brother.

The finish was several coats of danish oil followed by wax for a silky satin finish.

Size 300x200x100mm 12"x8"x4"
