The weak point was trying to figure out how to attach the legs to the top while incorporating a "batten" below attempting to help keep the top straight. The screws are all at right angles to the board it is screwed into. So far, (1.5 yrs later, in a very hot house with forced air) it's held up fine (though the client's dogs nawed at parts!!!!)
