Retro coffee table with offset turned legs

The table was finished with stain to pop the curl, followed by linseed oil, satin polyurethane wipe-on finish for durability and then a coat of wax
I built two similar tables, one for my house and one as a housewarming gift for my son, Mark. The challenge was turning six identical legs that were done on the lathe with offsetting the centers to get the proper effect. The legs are tenoned into the top and bottom.

This caught my eye right away... I like things that are different and this is beautiful! It is like a piece of art but very functional, you like looking at it. Good Job!
