An Icon for our times. The rising cost of materials and the shrinking wallets of my customers keeps my shop more quiet than i care for. I can see a whole series based on this theme. Well done.
Very nice work. I really get it too. While I am not a professional woodworker, i.e. I don't have to feed my family by selling my work, I do sell my work at craft shows. That is an outstanding statement and certainly an accuarate one for the times. Keep your tools sharp and keep honing your skills. When we come out of this we'll do even better work!
I'm like Coonsy in that I don't make a living off of woodworking but your wooden work of art is definately a physical descriptive of the times we're living in. It's pieces like this I believe impact the way folks look at the world and therefore effect what they do to change it. Great job Czappa!
Thank you all very much and I am glade you get the message as well. Thanks Bill
BC.....The "quiet" of your piece is deafening. Lead on.
