This table was built for a customer in Ohio. The dimensions are 32″H x 12″D x 48″L. It is built from walnut, cherry and curly maple, with maple inlay on the top. Finsihed in oils and satin lacquer. The most challenging part was making the arches, which are cut from one piece of cherry using a jig and router. They are not laminated or bent. The center mounting point is multiple glue-ups of walnut then faced with 1/4″ walnut to hid the seams. It is assembled with pegs. It has two tops, the first holds the legs and the center mounting point. The second top, which is what you see, lays over the first top and is screwed from the underside to hold it in place.
