Living room bookcase made of shingle oak and oak plywood
This bookcase is built from a 50 year old shingle oak that was cut down in my neighborhood. A friend and I cut the logs into boards on his Woodmizer portable sawmill. The wood was air dried for 18 months, then frame and panel constructed based on my wife’s design.
The dovetail drawers were made with a Sommerfeld Tools Katie Jig on my router table and installed with self closing Blum Tandem concealed full extension drawer slides with Blumotion.
