Christmas Cutting Boards
It’s that cutting board time of the year again. Made three face grain cutting boards. I used a template to flush cut the handle arch and through hole. Another template with a guide bearing routed the juice groove. I decided not to put a juice groove on the Cherry board as I didn’t want to detract attention from the beautiful figure. Quarter inch round off bit eased the edges. Sanded to 400 grit and finished with several applications of mineral oil and then buffed with beeswax.

what is the length and width of those strips?
Hi Taylor,
Since I gave them away as gifts I'll have to approximate the dimensions. Length 16" at top of curve. The widths are symmetrical but varies; 2" at center (maple) then 1" walnut, then 1 1/2" cherry, then 2" maple and 1/2" walnut. The second board has walnut replaced with purple heart.
