I call this material my “RiverMaterial(tm)”. The dyed resin is inlaid into the wood (and other materials) and polished and textured to provide glowing light to the room’s atmosphere. I use many different resins and techniques to make the combination stable and structural. Doors, tables, lighting — all are possible as I continue to explore this material combination I’ve worked with for a dozen years or more. I do various woods and colors of resin.

Another in my "RiverSeries(tm)" with dyed inlaid resin. There is a slim lightbox beneath the table top with 200 LEDs powered by an onboard battery pack and charger. A detachable cord charges the battery pack which runs the LEDs for 2 days or more, plenty for a fantastic dinner party.
