Solo microBootlegger
My first iteration of this design was a tandem boat that I based on a 1923 George Crouch designed mahogany speedboat called Baby Bootlegger.
This boat is 14′ long by 26″ wide. Built of strip-planked, bookmatched mahogany with carbon fiber and fiberglass reinforcement. The strips are 1/8″ thick.
I fitted this one out with a carved mahogany and maple seat with carbon fiber reinforced back rest support.
This boat was made as a matched set with a tandem version. All the mahogany came from two flitch-cut consecutive planks.
Plans are available for those who want to build their own.

Beautiful job !
Looks amazing. It must be really satisfying to canoe with something you built.
Gorgeous, congratulations. How do you get a plan?
Stan, he provided a link next to "my own design," though it does not stand out--here it is again http://www.guillemot-kayaks.com/guillemot/
Go there at your own risk; it's a site to inspire dreams. But from the looks of your contributions you are up to it.
