I began renovating my 2 car garage in December of 2008 to transform it into this workshop. I raised the ceiling to a little over 9 feet, put is some windows and new doors, completely rewired for 20amp, evicted all the mice, insulated, drywalled and painted it white, all by the end of February 2009. I wish I had taken before pictures. The south and west facing windows let lots of sunlight in during the winter months and a little warmth too. During the summer the sun it too high to reach into the shop. Dust collector and a chip separator are in the shed built on the outside of the garage. It is a pleasure to work in, or sometimes just sit in. Check out my blog at www.taylorbenchworks.blogspot.com
Thanks for looking.

Nice shop, well organized and clean looking. I'm in the process of organizing my own shop. That was a good inspiration.

Thanks grizzlysaw. The best part of woodworking is sharing with others.
Having just installed a 3Hp cyclone dust collector system, I appreciate how you put yours outside in a separate area... these things are loud...
May you have many days of pleasure in your well organized shop. Kudos.
