Queen Anne Lowboy
Inspired by the cover photo of Fine Woodworking for February 1990 “Building a Lowboy” this project was begun in 1990, set aside for twenty years, and completed early this year as a retirement project. It’s a gift to my great niece.
The species is American black walnut. The finish is a polyurethane wiping varnish rubbed with 0000 steel wool and buffed with a soft cotton cloth.

Nice!
Very lucky great niece. I'm sure she will treasure it. There is nothing more rewarding than building an heirloom like this knowing that it will be passed down from family member to family member long after you are gone. Excellent job!
very nice piece it will be treasured excellent workmanship
Beautiful work, your great niece is very lucky after all these years of waiting if this piece was meant to her in the first place.
How can I get the plans? I want to try build one.
Best Regards
