My shop has as many mobile machines and tables as possible to accommodate whatever work comes into it. I have a 10″ table saw, 14″ bandsaw, 6″ jointer, lathe, 13″ planer, benchtop mortiser, 17″ drill press, 18″ scrollsaw, 10″ single bevel mitre saw, and many wonderful handtools including hand planes of various sorts, saws, chisels and too many more to name here. Windows on both ends let in fabulous natural light and there are 5 double tube 4′ fluorescent fixtures to keep the area bright. Lots of storage cabinets and shelves surround the shop. The bench is 10 feet long by 30″ wide and was built by the original owner from old growth Douglas fir back in about 1919.  It is built in and very solid with many drawers underneath half of it.  Lumber storage, the air compressor, and the dust collector share a long narrow side room (plumbing for air lines is complete and duct work for dust collection is complete). My cabinet for adhesives and finishes, my FW mag collection and my sharpening bench are right beside a window.  The only thing I could not depict was my scrollsaw as there was no graphic for that in the planner tool.  The shop, being in a circa 1917 Arts & Crafts style house basement/garage, unfortunately has low ceilings and the floor slopes toward the garage door for drainage but it suits me just fine.
