This shop layout is to suit an existing 19’x22′ space.  The Dust Collection System is in an isolated space for noise reduction and has piping through the wall.  Tiered Lumber Storage is in the corner by the Jointer.  The Lathe is located under the Lumber Storage by the Drill Press.  Jointer, Planer, Band-saw, and Cabinet Maker’s Workbench, are all on casters for repositioning when needed.  Additional Tool Storage is under the Table Saw Extension Table. A Tool sharpening Station with a Bench Grinder is located under the Upper Cabinets beneath the Air Cleaner.  A Large Air Compressor, Shop Vacuum, Small Compressor, Painting Supplies, is all in/under the Tool Storage Cabinet under an assortment of Clamps.  Also nested in this area are the Glue Station and Planning Station complete with a Computer and Resource Library.  A Roll-Cage (not shown) is hinged to bridge the gap at the door between work surfaces to accomodate longer stock at the Mitre Saw.  Jana (my dog) and I enjoy each other’s company.
