This is almost a Dream Shop. I would have more space between stationary tools on the shop floor and across the back wall; but the DreamShop Planner would not allow a building any bigger. I would put the dust collector and the air compressor in slightly detached sheds outside the shop building; to keep dust out of the shop altogether and to hold down the noise in the shop.

I would build the shop into the side of a hill with a 14’ ceiling; heat the shop with a propane fired tankless water heater driving an aluminum shielded in-floor hydroponic system; and cool the shop with high vent fans into the forest in which I now live without air conditioning.
