My first woodworking project, this is a box I made for my mother to hold her bible. It is made from Bloodwood and Canarywood and finished with walnut oil.

Thanks, pauliv. The dovetails were done on a Porter Cable router jig. I am kind of proud how the cross turned out. I saw your box the other day and it made me decide to post mine. That is a really unique idea and it turned out beautiful. I like the rugged look of the cross.
