   I love the elegant style. So deceptively simple with those flowing lines. I believe I will try to make a pair. Any tips?

   Nice! How did you attach the shelf? Is it doweled in place, or some other method? I built a similar table a few years ago out of meranti, but no curves. They lend a nice elegance.

   Tips? Let's see. If you decide to use the same wood (African Mahogany) or any other rowed wood, sharpen often, try a higher blade angle, and be prepared to scrape and sand as well! The shelves sit on supports that are doweled into the legs, and the supports meet the legs at subtle angles, so be careful on the dry fit. Also, these tables are quite small to suit the client's living space, so you might want to experiment with dimensions. Send me a photo if you make one yourself.
