Bob’s Future Antiques
This shop is user friendly. The wood storage also opens to the outside allowing for boards up to 8′ to be loaded from the outside, and then pulled into the shop as needed. The boards are inline to be cut to size on the miter saw or tablesaw without much movement of the board necessary. Each machine is placed so the wood moves naturally around the shop as it is shaped, then ends up on the assembly tables and workbenches ready for assembly. In actuallity, I have a doorway beside the dustcollector and it is on the other side of the wall. Then the back half of the extra 8′ x 16′ is my painting/finishing section, keeping them away from any dust in the open part of the shop. I have built this shop entirely by myself, from the bricks it sits on to the roof and wiring. Outside the 2 windows is where I feed the raccoons and squirrels and birds on their own custom built picnic table and wading pool with small waterfall, with a gazebo keeping the leaves out of the water. I have a nice view either in my shop or out the windows.
