Presentation Box

A customer asked me to create a presentation box for a vintage fountain pen she was giving as a gift. I did this box in Koa and birds eye maple. She also said that the recipient loved being on the water, so I worked in the “waves” in contrasting wood on the top and sides. The box is approx. 7 x 2.5, finished in hand-rubbed poly and lined with black velvet.
