Madrone Dining Sideboard
Madrone sideboard, designed using cardboard mockups and SketchUp. Built from a madrone tree I cut & dried 25+ years ago. Side panels are figured maple; antique glass doors. Interior is birch plywood. The entire bottom is actually a torsion box, creating great rigidity and great load support. Finished with “Krenovian polish” (shellac). Construction time: 1 year. Great fun, but at times I thought it would never end!

Nice Job. Yes, I'd say it was hard work. Love all the contrasting woods. Nice finish.
