The eagle shadowbox project started when someone approached me to see if I could make a shadowbox in the shape of an eagle for our Commander. After looking over the details I jumped on the opportunity to challenge myself. Needless to say it was fun and took about 18 bft of 13/16 red oak and a week or so of intermittent work.

I'm very impressed with the outcome of the shadowbox, Well Done! Do you currently sell these? Would you be interested in creating another one? My mother is retiring from the Air Force next year and I can't think of a better way to commemorate such an occasion. I know its a bit of an odd request, and there would be a lot of details to be worked out as far as logistics are concerned, but please let me know if you'd be interested.
