Bathroom Vanity
This is a variation of the arts and crafts coffee table from a fww article by Kevin Rodel. I built it from some old 2×4’s i picked up free from craigslist. they are from a 100 year old grocery store in Venice, CA. I built the table as a vanity for my wife’s parents. It was super fun, I made a ton of mistakes and learned a lot. If anybody has any questions or needs more info, i’d be happy to write more. Just let me know.
i’m grateful to be a part of this community.
thanks.

Very nice job Josh. The color of the finished piece is beautiful.

Josh,
I like this. I really like this. I've been making furniture for 35 years, and I have a lot of respect for someone who says " I made a ton of mistakes" but the fact that you learned a lot. Well, that's what it's all about. Woodworking is a journey. One that never ends. That's the beauty. You've done a wonderful job here Josh. You should be proud. Go start another project. And most importantly, enjoy yourself!!!
I love the through tenons and the fact that you worked a weathered, aged look into the vanity.
Great job. Love your choice of sink and hardware. Makes the whole thing complete. By the way...there are no mistakes...them's design elements. Hope you keep on having fun. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent work Josh! Mistakes are how I learn. Trick is to not make the same one twice! That's my problem... just ask my patient wife!
