Cherry Leaf Box

Cherry Leaf Box with walnut accents; splines, lid edges and leaf veins. Crafted from reclaimed wood. Approx. 5 x 7.5 inches and finished with hand-rubbed poly. The lid is hinged with hidden pins, and the forward leaf acts as a lift and lid stop. The interior tray is removable and is made of walnut. The tray and the box bottom are lined with black velvet.

I really like the leaf detail. The walnut stem is a nice touch and probably keeps the leaf from breaking when lifting and closing the top. I like the way you thought that out.

Great job John ! The leaves are just ..... awesome ! I love that you took the time to align the grain to look like veins . pure art !
