Very nice. Great job.
Very nice table and chairs. They look great.
Great job, great craftsmanship.
Could you please describe how you made the cherry inlays in the chair rails (manual or via CNC routing).
Could you show some detail of the chairs, especially the leather seat cover (how is the seat base constructed and how the covering with leather was done)
Best regards from Germany Michael
Thx Michael.
The Cherry inlay was done with a scroll saw. Real easy, two boards 1/8" thick taped together, Maple at the bottom and Cherry on top for the pattern and then scroll sawed at a blade angle of approximatley 8 degrees. The inlayed board is then glued to the back-rail. Use a 28tooth pitch scroll saw blade.
The Seat base is 1/2" plywood upholstered with leather.
This link below does a much better job than me explaining the upholstery. It is exactly the way I did it.
