A Growing Woodworking Program
Currently we share a space in a multi-use studio on the third floor of the building, but the woodworking program is showing a fair amount of interest; so we’re hoping to take it to the next level if we get the space. This is the layout I would put into a room we have coming available. It gets a fair amount of natural light and is on the ground level near a loading dock. It was originally designed as a computer lab so there’s plenty of outlets. Pulling in bigger current for the machines wouldn’t be hard. I have placed the dust collector on what is an outside wall with the idea being we could house the system outside the room and come through the wall above the dropped ceiling and then down to the machines individually. The room sits across the hall from a loading dock/storage hallway where we could keep our stock and any sheet goods.
