Made from curly western maple and roble. The drawer faces and other angles match to the rest of my son’s bedroom set. The drawers are free-hung by one side and use a double heavy duty rail system for stability. It’s a large desk and the materials are 15/16th and quite massive, so the open design of the drawers adds a needed relief to the visual weight. The drawers also have a hidden compartment in the very back that can be accessed only through release of the slide latches, which makes my 6yr old customer quite happy.
