Bloodwood and Maple Stool
The seat is made from the last piece of scrap left from the live-edge board used for the bloodwood table (see my profile for that post). Lots of checking and worm holes took weeks of old fashioned cyanoacrylate treatment but closed up nicely. The lumber has had years to acclimate so I’m hopeful that it is fully stabilized. The base central support angles mirror the bloodwood table’s lines as well as the bubinga corner desk it was built to accompany (also posted at my profile).
