Zebrawood and Walnut Jewelry Box

Walnut box has a zebrawood top and maple accents. Measures approx. 17"x9"x6.75"
I made this box as a donation to a local organization’s charity auction. I wanted to see how large a box I could make using my small shop and Doug Stowe’s guidance about boxmaking techniques. The tray was actually an afterthought but in fact I think makes the completed box work well. Zebrawood is challenging – it is waxy with confused grain; tears out like crazy.
